We do, too! Well, good for us, Dining with Dogs is back again! Join us on Monday, May 21 at Mr. Friendly’s for an evening of fine dining with your dogs. Beginning at 6pm, you and your four-legged friends may come for dinner. Mr. Friendly’s menu is open for you, and for $12 (plus tax), Pupcakes will provide a yummy yappetizer, an exciting entrée, and a delicious dessert for your dog! That’s ok! Join us for our second! On Tuesday, May 22, we will be partnering with Solstice restaurant to provide an easy night out for you and your dog! Just like our first event, the restaurant menu is open to you, and we will be preparing a yummy yappetizer, an exciting entrée, and a delicious dessert for your pooch at our bakery! The meal for your dog will be $12 (plus tax). We ask that you call ahead and reserve your spot today! We want to make sure that we prepare the correct amount of food for all of the dogs that will be joining us! Feel free to RSVP by calling (803) 461-0236. This event will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 10am-5pm at our store, located at 625 Harden Street, in the heart of downtown Columbia. It will be a day full of festivities for the entire public. Come, and tell all of your friends!

For the past four years, we’ve created amazing calendars for everyone to enjoy. Cathy Farabaugh Photography is offering exclusive professional photos for all participants during the photo shoot. With this, all participants will receive a professional portrait of their pet courtesy of Pupcakes Pet Boutique and Bakery and Cathy Farabaugh Photography.

Dedicated to helping the community, each year, all of the proceeds from each photo shoot are donated to a charity. This event will benefit the Lutheran Hospice Pet Peace of Mind program. Pet Peace of Mind provides Lutheran Hospice with funding to provide in-home pet care assistance to hospice patients who need help to care for their beloved pets. Lutheran Hospice understands the important emotional and spiritual connection pets provide to hospice patients. Their goal is to ensure that patients are able to spend time with their pets without worryig about their pets’ current and future needs.

We ask that you register for this event to guarantee a time slot that works best for you; however, walk-ins are always accepted! There will be a registration fee of $25, but as we mentioned above, all of our proceeds from this event are donated! Time slots fill up FAST, so make sure you reserve your spot as soon as possible! The four winning Pooch Pin Up portraits will be featured in the 2013 edition of Pupcakes’ Pooch Pin Up calendar. But, how do we win, you ask? Easy! Votes can be cast from the comfort of your home on our website, over the phone, or in person at the store! Each vote will cost $1.00, but again, the money raised will be donated to charity. Portraits of each pooch will be displayed both online and in Pupcakes Pet Boutique. Anyone can vote for your pooch to win! Voting will begin after the pictures are taken.

If you can’t make this one, don’t fret! There will be one more Pooch Pin Up photo shoot for this year on Saturday, August 18. We look forward to meeting you and your furry friends soon!
